Lenalid (Lenalidomide) 15mg Capsule is an immunomodulatory drug used to treat various blood cancers and disorders by enhancing immune system function and inhibiting cancer cell growth.

1. Multiple Myeloma (MM) – Used in combination with dexamethasone or other chemotherapy drugs.

2. Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS) – Specifically for MDS with deletion 5q (del(5q)) abnormality.

3. Mantle Cell Lymphoma (MCL) – Used in patients who have relapsed or are resistant to previous treatments.

4. Follicular and Marginal Zone Lymphoma – Approved for certain cases in combination with rituximab.

• Enhances the immune response against cancer cells.

• Inhibits tumor growth by blocking blood vessel formation (anti-angiogenesis).

• Alters cytokine production to reduce inflammation and support normal blood cell function.

• Taken once daily, as prescribed by the doctor.

• Swallow the capsule whole with water, do not open or crush it.

• Dosage may be adjusted based on kidney function and blood counts.

• Low blood cell counts (anemia, neutropenia, thrombocytopenia)

• Fatigue, weakness

• Nausea, diarrhea, constipation

• Increased risk of blood clots

• Peripheral neuropathy (tingling or numbness in hands/feet)

• Pregnancy warning: Highly teratogenic (can cause severe birth defects); requires strict pregnancy prevention measures.

• Increased clot risk: May require blood thinners during treatment.
